The sections of the ViaRhôna located upstream and downstream of the 3 Lakes Campground, very close to the Rhône, pass through remarkable sites in Haute-Savoie, Savoie, and Isère: From the campground, you can take the ViaRhôna trail eastward to the flower-filled village of Chanaz. By following the Rhône westward, you’ll reach the Balme Caves and can continue on to Lyon. Whether you’re on a multi-day trip or just looking for a fun family day trip, the ViaRhôna invites you to go cycling in a beautiful setting, along the waterfront and through unspoiled natural areas. Numerous amenities are available for families, including safe 20- to 25-kilometer stretches on greenways, dotted with picnic areas and other services.
